Social networking: Better or worse than the real thing?

     Social networking has become a major aspect of our daily routines. We have a tendency to no longer crave that human interaction but rather send a quick text through social media or our phones. In a sense its a more convenient and cost free method of communication, especially to communicate with long distance family members or friends.  Social networking has now evolve to become a replacement of the real thing, where social media allows us to communicate with others not only through calls but now video chat at any time and any where. By analyzing the roles of big social media platforms I will analyze the different roles it plays to be better then in person communication.
